One of the best examples of PENCON’s range of services is the work performed at St. Paul’s Towers. This 23 story Assisted Living Facility was in need of modernization of common areas, living units, and their Skilled Nursing Facility. PENCON renovated over 120 living units, on an accelerated schedule, making units “move-in” ready in less than 4 weeks per unit. PENCON renovated the dining facility, kitchen area, corridors with new HVAC equipment, and solariums on multiple floors. All work was performed while the facility was occupied.
PENCON’s CLEAN construction methods allowed building occupants to continue their daily routines without interruption. PENCON also performed a complete renovation of the SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) at St. Paul’s Towers while it was occupied. We used the three C’s of healthcare work: COORDINATION, CONTROLS, CONTAINMENT. This was a challenging task considering the scope of work included renovation of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire sprinklers and architectural finishes.
